Based in Croydon, London R3d H3rring were formed in early 2007. Sadly, one member left our happy outfit in the dawning months of 2009. However, our remaining two member plodded on; striving to bring good, solid rhythms to the people of London!
Beats the Bishop saw a welcome return to Jimbo on drums. Playing their hearts out at local venues, such as The Folly and The Earl of Eldon, Beats the Bishop have breathed new life into the original R3d H3rring repotoir. (lineup: Birdogg, "Polish" Paul, Roger, Jimbo)
Birdogg & Friends (TBC) is a relatively new outfit. Out front we have the ripe vocal chords of Birdogg Trublu, an up and coming vocalist of outstanding power and originality. Several of the songs featured with this band were penned by the lead man. On the guitar we have the daring and sometimes outrageous licks of "Polish" Paul. On the skins we find our trusty Styx, bashing out any beat the boys request. Last, but by no means least, we have Roger on bass and vocals.
Little Dread Corvette is another outfit which features Styx and Roger, with the exciting addition of Matt Baker on guitar. This band have regular gigs at the Jolly Farmers - makes sense seeing as Matt's "in charge" down there! A typical set list includes Hendrix, (our infamous) Prince (cover), blues and rock.
